What is PVD Coating?
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), is a vacuum-coating process used to enhance metal, ceramic, or plastic objects’ surface performance by depositing thin metallic or ceramic film coatings on their surfaces. Simply put, PVD coating is an upgrade from conventional metal surface modification processes such as heat-treatment, carburizing, nitriding, anodizing, hard-chrome plating, electroplating, etc. If you desire a super-hard, super-thin, ultra-low-friction, easy-release, and oxidation-resistant protective coating for your tools and components, PVD coating is your environmentally friendly solution.
